Unfortunately medicare does not offer rebates for Psychological Assessments at this point in time. As such, you do not need a GP referral to book an assessment.
Please contact your private health company directly to see if they offer rebates for General Psychology for Psychological Assessment based on your personal level of cover.

Whilst we are a registered NDIS provider, unfortunately the NDIS do not allow funding to be used for diagnostic assessments at this point in time.

Southside Psychology understands that from time to time appointment times need to be changed or cancelled. We send courtesy reminders the day prior to appointments, however we still expect clients to remember their appointments and arrive on time. Please email us at admin@southsidepsychology.com or call us on 0455 913 583 to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.
We require at least 48 hours notice in order to offer appointments to other clients on the waiting list. If you need to cancel or change an appointment and provide more than 48 hours notice, no fee is payable. Non attendance at an appointment or a last minute cancellation will incur a cancellation fee. Please note there is no rebate available on cancellation fees.
