Bec is an AHPRA-endorsed psychologist who specialises in working with individuals from neurodiverse backgrounds and administering gold-standard psychological and educational assessments. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults better understand their unique learning profiles so they can reach their full potential and access the support they need to succeed.
Bec has a strong interest in both neurodiversity and giftedness, and is committed to ensuring individuals receive the right support across all settings—whether that’s in school, the workplace, or through government funding schemes such as the NDIS. She also works closely with families to facilitate placement in educational settings tailored to a child’s needs, including Language Development Centres and Extension/Gifted programs.
Since completing her Master of Psychology at Murdoch University in 2016, Bec has worked across the education, disability, and mental health sectors, supporting both children and adults. Her experience includes roles in early intervention, Positive Behaviour Support, and services for individuals with complex behavioural needs. As a School Psychologist, she specialised in assessing children with additional needs and supported schools and families in making curriculum and environmental adjustments to promote student success.
Bec has also spent several years working in the Northern Territory, providing therapy and assessment services to clients in regional and very remote communities. She continues to travel to remote areas to participate in outreach assessment clinics, ensuring individuals in underserved locations have access to high-quality psychological services.
In recent years, Bec has further developed her expertise in psychological and educational assessments through her work in private practice, where she supports clients in navigating both the education system and broader community supports.
